Mentors
At the time of your acceptance as a Magi Apprentice, you will be
assigned a Mentor. Magi Fellowship Mentors are individuals who have
attained the certification of Magi Councelor. This is a recognized
level of mastery of the Card Science that has been proven by written
tests, observable skill in delivery of information in readings with
clients and experience.
The Mentor's primary responsibility is to guide you through the
learning process to mastery of the Card Science resulting in your
attainment of the certification as magi Councelor. At the time of
acceptance as a Magi Apprentice, your mentor will work with you
to assess your current skills in the Cards and then develop a curriculum
of study to lead you to certification.
Through out the Apprenticeship period, your Mentor will be responsible
for coaching you weekly on your progress and answer any questions
you may have at that time. A minimum of 15 minutes each week would
be required for this task but it may be more depending on the individual.
It is the Mentor who will determine when you are ready to take
your Intermediate and Master level exams. They will provide coaching
and instruction as required to assure you are qualified to sit for
the Intermediate and Master level exams and pass successfully. The
time made available for this task is to be determined by the Mentor
and is in addition to the time allocated to the weekly calls.
When all levels of examination have been passed the Mentor will
be responsible for writing a letter of recommendation to the Fellowship
Certification Committee. This recommendation will be based on their
personal knowledge of you and obtained during the apprenticeship
year. It should discuss in detail why you should be granted the
Counselor designation and what strengths or talents you will bring
to the Fellowship as a group.
