Degree Requirements

Magi Counselor

The Magi Counselor as a member of the Magi Fellowship is expected to demonstrate the highest expression of the spiritual aspects of the Card System integrated into a spiritual lifestyle. In addition, the Magi Counselor will be able to use the Card System to professionally guide others to their own highest expression. As well as meeting the basic requirements listed below, in order to attain and maintain the first level of certification as a reader, a Magi Counselor is expected to:

Demonstrate emotional and spiritual maturity
Hold a deep respect for the ancient knowledge reflected in the Card Science and Astrology
Hold a deep respect for the self-determination of each individual
Have a firm commitment to the mission of the Fellowship

Required Knowledge Levels

For certification for the first degree, Magi Counselor, an individual must demonstrate mastery of the knowledge and skills taught in the following materials:

Mastery of Value

Success using the Science of the Cards or any other avenue requires that the individual have a handle on their relationship to money and values. Without it, very little success can be obtained in any field. An in-depth understanding of the Laws of Money and Attraction can transform your life to one where everything you want and need is always there. The Big Money Book and the "Inside The Big Money Book" DVD will get you on the road. We must be firmly established in the truths that govern the external world before we can enter within.

Mastery of Card Interpretation: Knowledge & Skills

At this level, individuals are expected to master the following:

The distinctions and importance of the five year-long influence cards.
Familiarity with the meaning of the suits, numbers and planets.
How the numbers in the cards evolve from lower to higher and how these numbers are often reflected in real life situations
The ability to find the information that addresses specific areas of life, i.e. where to find cards for financial, emotional, health, travel, work and other areas
The ability to combine several cards and derive an interpretation that addresses a client's situation.
The distinction between the personal significators and their spreads.
Understanding the importance of the context of a client's reading.

Advanced Card Science: Knowledge & Skills

The focus of the Advanced Card Science level is the following skills connected to a deep understanding of the grand Solar spreads:

Derive linear spreads from the Grand Solar spreads for

Yearly spread
Seven (7) year spread
Life spread

Recognition of auspicious events and ability to find these using the Grand Solar spread.

The pre-birth and re-birth years
The fated years and life purpose
The blessed ending years
The difficult ending years
The caution years
The challenge years
The critical year (age 52)
The ascent to pinnacle year
The pinnacle year
The most blessed year
The wish fulfilling years
The good money card years
The King of Spades long range year
The Life Path & Thirteen-year cycles

Perform a relationship reading using only the Life and Spiritual spreads.
Ability to determine birth card only with formula
Know how to find and integrate the underlying cards for any card in any spread.
Know how to quadrate the deck.
Understanding the 13 year cycles.

Mastery of Card Science: Knowledge & Skills

The Mastery of Card Science level is primarily concerned with the professional delivery of the information in the cards in the context of a specific client's situation.

Understanding the 5 steps of change and identifying where a client stands in the change process.
Acute Listening skills to determine a client's needs.
Professionalism.
Delivery of the reading focusing on the client's needs.
Ability to encourage the client to see and take responsibility for their situation.
